Deputy Room Leader

I have always been passionate about childcare. Since the age of 15, I’ve gained hands-on experience through babysitting for family, friends, and neighbours, which eventually led to working as a full-time nanny for three years. This foundation inspired me to pursue a more structured early years setting, leading to my current role in a nursery environment.

I joined Monkey Puzzle in 2023 as a Key Practitioner in the Discoverers room. I quickly discovered how much I enjoy working in this setting and soon enrolled in my Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, which I am now close to completing. In just over a year, I was promoted to Deputy Room Leader—an achievement that has further fuelled my drive to grow and develop within the early years sector.

My core goal is to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and supported, as I believe this is the foundation for learning and healthy development. I also encourage children to take age-appropriate risks through play to help build independence and resilience—skills that will benefit them throughout life.
