Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Hither Green

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Hither Green, is proudly located in the heart of Hither Green and is just a short walk from Hither Green train station. This makes us well located for serving families in the London Borough of Lewisham.

Our sister branch, Monkey Puzzle New Cross has been established in 2018 and has been rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2022. Monkey Puzzle Hither Green is proudly owned by the same owner and operational team as New Cross. Both nurseries are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.

Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged three to twelve months, toddlers & tweenies aged thirteen months to thirty six months, and lastly preschool aged three to five years. Due to our rooms being equipped especially for these ages, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

Our Investigators (2-3 Years) have been exploring a range of habitats within our wonderful our door learning space.🌊🐳🐢🐠
This colorful sensory activity gave the children the opportunity to talk about different animals and what they eat, and explore a range of slimy textures! They also explored using pippets to drip water onto some of the animals. Throughout this activity our wonderful team spoke to the children about the ocean, and why it is so important we look after our planet by doing things like recycling!🌊♻️

Our Inventors went to Explore in one of our local parks! 🛝🌿

On the way to and from the park the children spoke to their practitioners about road safety, and helped make sure that we looked both ways at the road, crossed safely, and walked sensibly the whole way there! Once at the park the wonderful preschoolers got the opportunity to explore a range of climbing equipment and exercise their gross motor skills!
