Room Leader and SEN Support

I have the privilege of being the Room Leader and SEN Practitioner in our beautiful Discoverers room, designed for children aged 24 months and older. My role is all about creating a nurturing, safe, and happy environment where children can thrive and be themselves.

In the Discoverers room, I encourage the children to be as independent as possible, fostering their confidence and individuality. I take immense pride in creating a space where every child feels secure, valued, and understood. Through carefully planned activities, we focus on stimulating cognitive and emotional development while promoting curiosity and creativity.

We prioritize routines and gentle guidance to help the children build essential social skills and develop a strong sense of autonomy. By giving them the freedom to make choices and engage in activities that excite them, we lay the foundation for their future growth and happiness. Our structured yet flexible approach ensures stability while allowing children to grow at their own pace.

My career at Monkey Puzzle has been an incredible journey. I joined over a year ago as a practitioner in the Discoverers room, worked my way up to Deputy Room Leader, and I am now proud to be the Room Leader. Monkey Puzzle truly feels like home, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead such a vibrant and inspiring environment for our little learners.
